Terms of Service

By creating an account, placing an order, or using any part of our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using our Services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

To access certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your password and account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if any information provided is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these Terms.

3.1 Service Description

Run Couriers provides logistics and delivery services for packages, documents, and freight. Service availability, delivery times, and pricing vary based on origin, destination, package specifications, and selected service level.

3.2 Prohibited Items

You may not use our Services to ship:

• Illegal goods or contraband
• Hazardous materials (unless properly classified and approved)
• Firearms, ammunition, or weapons (except as permitted by law)
• Live animals (without proper documentation and approval)
• Currency, cash, or negotiable instruments exceeding $1,000
• Perishable goods without proper packaging
• Items restricted by federal, state, or local laws

3.3 Packaging Requirements

You are responsible for properly packaging all items to prevent damage during transit. Run Couriers reserves the right to refuse pickup of inadequately packaged items. We offer packaging guidelines and supplies upon request.

4.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified. Prices are based on factors including weight, dimensions, distance, service level, and additional services requested. Quotes provided are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is due at the time of booking unless you have established credit terms
• We accept major credit cards, ACH transfers, and approved corporate accounts
• Recurring shipments may be subject to automatic billing
• Late payments may incur fees and suspension of services

4.3 Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for:

• Address corrections
• Residential delivery surcharges
• After-hours or weekend delivery
• Liftgate service
• Inside delivery
• Storage fees for undeliverable packages

5.1 Limitation of Liability

Run Couriers' liability for loss or damage is limited to the lesser of: (a) the actual value of the goods, or (b) $100 per shipment, unless declared value coverage is purchased. We are not liable for:

• Consequential or indirect damages
• Loss of profits or business interruption
• Damage caused by improper packaging by the shipper
• Acts of God, war, or government actions
• Delays caused by circumstances beyond our control

5.2 Declared Value Coverage

You may declare a value up to $50,000 per shipment for an additional fee. Full terms and conditions of declared value coverage are available upon request and must be agreed to in writing.

5.3 Claims Process

All claims for loss or damage must be filed within 60 days of delivery (or expected delivery). Claims must include documentation of value and evidence of damage. Run Couriers will investigate and respond to claims within 30 business days.

6.1 Delivery Attempts

We will make up to three delivery attempts for residential addresses and two attempts for commercial addresses. After unsuccessful attempts, packages may be held at a local facility, returned to sender, or disposed of according to our policies.

6.2 Delivery Confirmation

Signature may be required based on service level, declared value, or sender requirements. We provide delivery confirmation including date, time, and recipient name (if signed for).

6.3 Delivery Timeframes

Delivery dates and times are estimates and not guaranteed unless specifically agreed to in writing as a "Guaranteed Service." Weather, traffic, and other factors may affect delivery times.

All content on our website and applications, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and technology, is the property of Run Couriers or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or exploit any content without our prior written consent. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use our Services for their intended purpose.

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with other users' access to the Services
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Scrape, data mine, or harvest information from our Services
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, abuse, or harm our employees or contractors

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting customer support. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Behavior that threatens the safety of our staff

Upon termination, your right to use the Services immediately ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules. Arbitration shall take place in Wilmington, Delaware. Each party bears its own arbitration costs.

10.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class action or representative action. You waive any right to participate in class-wide arbitration or claims.
